Birth Centers

We offer two birth center options, one in Wasilla at Labor of Love Midwifery, LLC and in Anchorage at Geneva Woods Midwifery, LLC, for your convenience and comfort. At the birth centers, we will provide you with full pregnancy care–prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum & newborn care. Water births are an option at both birth centers. Please view the websites by clicking on the links above to view the facilities or stop by during business hours to tour the centers.

Out-of-hospital birth is safe for low-risk mothers. Deciding to have an out-of-hospital birth allows you the freedom to plan your birth the way you wish. Our midwives are here to assist you, but not control you with cut and dry routines like hospitals do. You are free to have music, aromatherapy, or whatever makes your birth more comfortable. We will help you plan your birth so that you are as safe and comfortable as possible. If you have specific questions about birth center births, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you would prefer to receive care at home, please visit our homebirth page.
